STATEMENT SERVICE GUIDELINES

FEBRUARY 2022

Following the government announcement that all restrictions will be lifted at the end of February, from 27th February there will be no restrictions in church.

• We have been advised by the Diocese that the giving of the wine will now be at the discretion of the incumbent.  We plan, therefore, to start offering the wine on Easter Sunday to those that wish to receive.

• We have been exchanging a sign of Peace during services for a couple of weeks and will continue to do so.  However, this should be done from your pew with no movement around the church, in order that everyone continues to feel safe.

• We would still recommend that people do not attend church if they have any of the identified Covid symptoms and that they take a lateral flow test before returning.

• We would ask any member of the congregation who develops Covid to let us know.
