Church Hall
The following is a list of answers to frequently asked questions. Further information may be obtained from Dave. (e-mail below).
The large Hall holds approx 180/200 people seated; the small one approx 40/50.
Neither Hall is available on Sundays.
The reason we can rarely accept bookings at short notice is because we do not have a caretaker and rely on a (very) small band of volunteers to open and close the Hall.
We usually need a minimum of three weeks.
The hall must be vacated by 23.00 hours.
Booking times must include setting up and clearing away.
We have a music license but no loud music must be played after 22.00 hours.
We do not have a Drinks License. No alcohol is permitted on the premises unless the hirer obtains a Private License.
Kitchen facilities are available.
We have Public Liability (third Party) Insurance but this does not cover accidents or damage caused by the hirer or members of his/her party for which the hirer accepts full responsibility.
